Stella Yarrow Printmaker
About me
I am a fine art printmaker. My prints reflect my passion for the natural environment and my response to the climate and ecological crisis facing us. My main printmaking methods are lino cut, with its clear, strong, graphic qualities, and lino etching, with its looser mark making. I also use other printmaking techniques, including photopolymer, photoetching and drypoint. I love experimenting with colour, transparency, and texture, and I make small print editions, and unique, one-off, prints. I make my prints by hand, using a traditional etching press, at the Print Studio at the Art Academy (an independent fine art school) in London, where I am a Print Associate.
I'm a member of the Crouch End Open Studios group and of the Printmakers' Council.
